Joanna T. Smith is a Co-Founder and the Executive Co-Director of Hearts for Hearing. Ms. Smith is one of eight Certified Auditory-Verbal therapists at Hearts for Hearing and has been working as a speech-language pathologist in the Oklahoma City area for 30 years. Ms. Smith has been recognized by the Oklahoma Speech Language Hearing Association with the Gwen Cacy Award for outstanding clinical skills. She has served on the Executive Board of OPTION schools International, the AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language Job Analysis taskforce, and the Oklahoma Early Intervention Task Force for Children with Hearing Loss. Ms. Smith is a consultant and an accomplished workshop presenter at the local, state and national levels.
