COSTUMES....ACTING....PHOTOGRAPHY... all that is glamour and glitz. That was the Art theme today at Summer Camp.
ACT I: A tour of the costume exhibit "From Sketch to Screen" at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. The children saw famous costumes like Superman, Gladiator and John Wayne.
ACT II: We drove to Norman and toured a real-life theater costume closet and stood on the state of the Donald W. Reynolds Performing Arts Center at the University of Oklahoma.
INTERMISSION: Lunch of the lawn of the North Oval at OU.
ACT III: "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words", Mr. Mat Miller, photographer for Stillwater Living, joined us in Norman to take portraits of us using costumes and props.
Thank you to Tom Orr and Robin Huston for helping to set up the wonderful OU experience and to Mat Miller, the portraits will be such a wonderful memory of the day!
